The Route to a Successful Direct Mail Campaign
- We work closely with your school to plan the campaign.
- Develop a comprehensive project calendar, establishing
all stages and deadlines of the program.
- Create copy and graphics for package to be mailed, again working in close cooperation with your staff.
- Process names from search or inquiry file.
- Laser-print personalized letter and response device, print and address envelope, laser enclosure (if any).
- Coordinate all mailing activities: folding letter, inserting brochure or other enclosures, determining method of
mailing for lowest postal rate, sorting, bagging and delivering to the post office.
- Either AMM or the school receives and enters all responses.
- Handle fulfillment, mail personalized package to respondents.
- Purge respondents from file prior to mailing follow-up
letter to non-respondents.
- Add new respondent names to file and mails.
- Provide complete, easy-to-understand reports on results
of mailing on a regular basis.
- Analyze results with your staff.
- Begin planning next campaign.
